Ileana confirmed in Allu Arjun’s new project!

Actress Ileana has been confirmed to play the female lead role opposite to Stylish star Allu Arjun in his upcoming project under Trivikram Srinivas direction. Earlier Allu Arjun was afraid to act with Ileana, after her films Shakthi and Nenu Naa Rakshi were bombed at box office. Allu Arjun was also refused to act with her, but now she is confirmed as heroine in Allu Arjun’s upcoming project.

For this movie Ileana was demanded almost Rs 2 Cores, but after Shakthi and Nenu Naa Rakshi flop,no producer and director is coming forward to sign her in Telugu. So she reduced her remuneration, to grab the opportunity to work with Allu Arjun, who is one of the hottest young stars in Tollywood.

The movie will be produced by DVV Danaiah under Universal media banner. More details of this project will announce soon.

The movie is going to hit the floors soon, once Allu Arjun is back from the foreign tour.

Rajnikanth’s Rana may start in October!

South India Super star Rajinikanth has returned to home from Singapore after undergoing a reported kidney ailment. He is recovering well and is advised by doctors to take rest for couple of months.


After six weeks of treatment in Singapore, the actor returned to Chennai last night and was welcomed by large number of fans in cheers who were chanting ‘thalaiva’ in tamil (leader in English). Rajini folded his hands in his own style and greeted his fans, conveying all went well with their most loved star.

As per the sources Rajni will discuss with the director K. S. Ravikumar to keep the shooting of Rana on hold for few months. They may resume the movie by October or November this year.

The shooting of film Rana was started on April 29th under K. S. Ravikumar’s direction co-starring Deepika Padukone. Soon after the shooting, Rajini has fallen sick and was hospitalized twice in different hospitals in Chennai. He then was taken to Singapore by family members who didn’t see any recovery in India for treatment. Fans across the world have performed pujas for his fast recovery.

He had acknowledged that it was the love of his fans which saved him and he is in good health today in front of us.

Pawan Kalyan’s film title "Prince of Peace"

Power star Pawan Kalyan was started a film under Singeetam Srinivas Rao direction, after the release of Theenmaar. But from past few days the movie makers are not revealed much about the movie and Pawan Kalyan also busy with the shooting of Kaali.


Now the latest news is that Pawan Kalyan’s under shoot film, which is based on life of Jesus Christ, has got the title now. The movie will be titled as "Prince of Peace". Earlier we heard many titles for this like Jesus Christ and Traffic Jam, but now the movie producer Konda Krishnamraju had registered a title ’Prince of Peace’ under Aditya Productions banner in film chamber. It seems that the movie makers are going to keep this title for Pawan Kalyan’s movie. But the news is not yet confirmed officially.

Anushka is playing the female lead role in the film. In this flick Pawan is sharing screen with some child artistes.

The basic plot of the movie is mainly based on Jesus Christ’s life history. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and English languages.

Nayanatara and Prabhudeva in Guruvayur!

Choreographer cum actor cum director Prabhudeva visited Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple on Wednesday in Kerala and offered prayers. Prabhudeva’s marriage conducted on September 8, 1995 with Ramlath was dissolved on mutual consent. Recently family court in Chennai granted divorce to Prabhu Deva and Ramalath. As per the sources Nayanatara and Prabhudeva went together to Guruvayur, but only Prabhudeva visited the Temple.

After his divorce with Ramlath, Prabhudeva visited Guruvaur Sree Krishna Temple and spent about 10 minutes in the temple after the morning ’Seeveli’ ritual. As per the reports presented a bunch of ’kadali’ plantain to the presiding deity and received ’prasadam’ from the priests.

Prabhudeva is seeking the blessings from Guruvayurappanfor not to trouble his second marriage with Nayanatara it seems.

Nayanatara also confirmed that Sri Ramarajyam is her last film and she is not signed any other film now. Prabhudeva is going to get married with Nayanatara soon.

Tamannah to be banned!

One of the top south Indian actresses Tamannah is likely to be banned by Kollywood. The reason behind is that the actress flew to SriLanka for the shooting of her future project in Telugu titled ‘Rachcha’ with Ram Charan as a hero. We all know that there is already a hot rivalry is running between Tamilnadu and SriLankan government since many years. And it is also said that Tamil Film Industry has passed a resolution not to go to SriLanka for any film shoot and also declared that whoever visits Srilanka for the shootings of films will be banned from the industry.
Tamanna, in one of her interviews has disclosed that she is going to SriLanka for a film shooting which resulted in getting banned in Kollywood to act in any movies and also they have decided to stop her latest Tamil release ‘Venghai’ from the theatres.

SRK hits one million on Twitter!

He generated over 10,000 followers on Twitter within 24 hours of joining the microblogging site last year. Now, Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan has created another record by crossing the one million mark on twitter.

Tendulkar, author/politician Shashi Tharoor and actress Priyanka Chopra who have all attained this feat.

"Celebrating the million mark by watching Bambi with my daughter. Feeling the warmth…thanx all. Love u," Shah Rukh tweeted. Last month Chopra became the first Bollywood actress to have over a million followers on Twitter.

Other Bollywood celebrities who are on the verge of breaking the milion mark on twitter are Amitabh Bachchan who has 897,659 followers and actor Salman Khan with 817,568 followers.(PTI)

Kodipunju audio released

Young hero Tanish and new debutant heroine Anchal alias Shobana starrer film titled "Kodipunju" audio was launched on Yesterday (July 10th, 2011) evening at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. The first audio CD was unveiled by hero Manchu Manoj and handed over to actress Roja. Roja is also playing an important role in the film, she will be seen in a powerful role as Seetharathnam.

Rajnikanth coming to Chennai on July 13th!

Superstar Rajinikanth is coming back to Chennai on Wednesday, July 13th from Singapore. He went to Singapore on May 28th and underwent a treatment in Mount Elizabeth Hospital of Singapore. Rajini got discharged last month only from hospital, but he is taking rest in Singapore and attending the periodic health checkups. Now he is doing well and coming back to Chennai on July 13th. But the date of superstar’s arrival was kept secret for many days suspecting the fans in large number may rush to the airport on his arrival.

According to sources, Rajini is now in a better health conditions after recovery and is waiting to continue his movie ‘Rana’. He wants to come back to entertain his fans and is very much thankful to their blessings for his fast ill health recovery. In the recent past, his handwritten letter to his fans was also shown where he expressed his gratitude towards the well wishers.

‘DHADA’ RELEASING ON 11TH AUGUST

Naga Chaitanya Announced the dates of his upcoming film ‘Dhada’ opposite Kaajal Agarwal. This film is releasing on 11th August. The audio will release in the 3rd of this month. Debutant Ajay Bhuvan has directed this film and Shiva Prasad Reddy has produced it. The distribution rights are taken by R R Movie makers. Katrina Kaif: Leave the kiss alone!

Mumbai, July 9 -- Kissing scenes in Bollywood have always made tabloid headlines. So it's not surprising that the lip-lock shared between Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) too is creating ripples. But Katrina is not amused and remains completely unfazed. The actor feels too much attention is being given to the scene.

"Why give it so much importance? I don't feel the sequence is even worth talking about. People won't watch the film only for the kiss, I can promise you that. Personally too, I don't give it any attention. People will come only if they are interested in the film, like the promos, or if they like the vibe of the film," she says. "It's part of an actor's job."

Of late, talks have been rife that the makers of ZNMD were confused about the Hrithik-Katrina kiss. They were believed to be in two minds regarding how much of the elaborate sequence should be retained in the film. But apparently, the kiss remains unedited in the final version.

This is not the first time Katrina has locked lips in a film. Her kiss with Gulshan Grover in her debut film, Boom (2003) was deleted from the initial versions of the DVDs , but is reportedly set to appear in the new versions. But she wasn't bothered about her first on-screen kiss being made public too. "What's there to react? And what's new about those scenes?" she had said a couple of months ago. The actor had further added that she doesn't deny having done scenes in the past she wasn't comfortable with.

But Katrina is clearly excited to share screen space with Hrithik for the first time. "He is an amazingly talented person. I always wanted to work with him and I'm happy to have got the opportunity now. You can really learn a lot about focus, concentration and dedication from him," she says.

As ZNMD gears up for release, director Zoya Akhtar and her team have been serving up several promotional activities, including a tie-up with UTV Movies and the entire cast going on a road trip from Mumbai to Gurgaon. Ask Katrina about working with her second female director after Farah Khan (Tees Maar Khan, 2010) and she shrugs, "A female or male director... that's not important to me. Actually, I don't see any difference. You are either a good director or you are not, and hopefully I have met a good director (in Zoya Akhtar)."

Katrina to romance Ranbir again

After splitting up with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif has moved on in life. She has not hesitation in sharing screen space with her ex-lovers. She has signed film with Salman Khan and also ready to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukherjee’s next flick.

Ayan is a very good friend of Ranbir and Katrina and hence they agreed to forget the past and concentrate on the future.

A source close to the actress said, "Katrina has consented to star in the fim. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line. It has been a long time now. Katrina has put her relationship with Ranbir behind her. She is ready to move on.”

"Katrina is totally focused on work now. She is back to being her usual happy and chirpy self. Life doesn't stop due to breakups. Why shouldn't she work with Ranbir?" further added the source.

Though Ayaan is well aware of their break-up, he is determined to rope Kat opposite Ranbir as he feels Kat only suits the role. However, he also considered Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma for the role but Kat was his top most priority. He has written the script keeping Kat and Ranbir in mind. The film will be directed by eminent filmmaker, Karan Johar.

'Don't touch Kareena', Saif to makeup artist

Saif Ali Khan is not only possessive about her ladylove Kareena Kapoor but also could not resist when somebody dare to touch Kareena tattoo which he has inked on his forearm. During the shooting of ‘Aarakshan’, when the make-up artist is doing his makeup, he strictly asked them to keep distance from the tattoo.

A source from the unit of Aarakshan says, "Saif required a lot of preparation every day on location. A lot of makeup had to go into making him look 'normal' in the part of a Dalit.

But when it came to his tattoo, he wouldn't allow anyone to touch it. He would do the makeup over the tattoo himself."

Not only this during the shoot in Bhopal, he would mail his look to Bebo and only after her consent, he would carry on with his look.

Says the source, "Every morning he would click himself and send his photo to her. Only after she approved would he go ahead with the shoot."

The couple has planned to tie the knot next year

Wondering what OUATIM 2 is? Don’t worry! It’s actually a no brainer. OUATIM 2 is Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2, the sequel to the much acclaimed and successful film with the same name that cam out last year. While the first part saw Emraan Hashmi don the role of Dawood Ibrahim, the second part will have Akshay ‘Khiladi’ Kumar donning Dawood’s role. Though this was set, the confusion was about who was going to play the role of Mandakini – Dawood’s love interest in the film.

There were a few names that cropped up. First it was Sonakshi Sinha, then it was Katrina Kaif and even Priyanka Chopra was approached to play the role. But, looks like Bebo has it in her kitty now? Well, who better than this talented actress to play this role? If the rumors are true, Kareena Kapoor will once again be pairing up with Akshay Kumar, after a long time indeed. Akshay-Kareena have been part of several projects in the past, and their on-screen chemistry was also awesome. Let’s have to wait and see how it works for this OUATIM 2, though!

Shah Rukh Khan gives Priyanka Chopra a RA.One cameo

Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan have been getting along famously of late. Whether in the stadium cheering for Shah Rukh's IPL team, or on the sets of Don 2, the actress has reportedly, become a 'close friend' of the Baadshah of Bollywood.

So much so that their friendship cost her an invitation to Sohail Khan's party in Toronto recently: while the entire industry got invited to both SRK and Salman's brother's party in the Canadian city, Priyanka was left out from the latter.

SRK and Priyanka will now be seen on the screen even before Don 2 releases. A couple of days ago, Shah Rukh called Priyanka and asked her to do a long, romantic sequence with him for his dream venture RA.One. The actress, sources said, was only too happy to accept the offer.

Ash, Madhur have sorted out their issues

Amitabh Bachchan has spoken out about the controversy that arose after the shooting of Madhur Bhandarkar’s ’Heroine’ was halted following the news of his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. Big B says that the issues have been sorted out.
It is a matter between Aishwarya and the producers of the film. I can’t comment on it. They have sorted out the issues between them," he told reporters in Ahmedabad where he was promoting his film ’Bbuddah…Hoga Teraa Baap’.

"Despite that if someone express their feelings they have the right to do it. And later others will also express the feelings and this is how the truth will come out," he added.

Big B had earlier come strongly against Madhur and producers UTV.

After ’Heroine’, Madhur’s "most ambitious project", was put on the backburner indefinitely following the news of Aishwarya’s pregnancy, the acclaimed filmmaker said on his blog that he went into depression and that he’s upset that the "truth was hidden" from him.(IANS)
