Rajnikanth’s Rana may start in October!

South India Super star Rajinikanth has returned to home from Singapore after undergoing a reported kidney ailment. He is recovering well and is advised by doctors to take rest for couple of months.


After six weeks of treatment in Singapore, the actor returned to Chennai last night and was welcomed by large number of fans in cheers who were chanting ‘thalaiva’ in tamil (leader in English). Rajini folded his hands in his own style and greeted his fans, conveying all went well with their most loved star.

As per the sources Rajni will discuss with the director K. S. Ravikumar to keep the shooting of Rana on hold for few months. They may resume the movie by October or November this year.

The shooting of film Rana was started on April 29th under K. S. Ravikumar’s direction co-starring Deepika Padukone. Soon after the shooting, Rajini has fallen sick and was hospitalized twice in different hospitals in Chennai. He then was taken to Singapore by family members who didn’t see any recovery in India for treatment. Fans across the world have performed pujas for his fast recovery.

He had acknowledged that it was the love of his fans which saved him and he is in good health today in front of us.
